Here are some photos of my 2011 Barbie Convention package. I didn’t go there myself, I bought the dolls on Ebay. The convention this year
was held in Fort Lauderdale and it is special because it’s Ken’s 50th anniversary. The convention dolls are a Barbie and Ken giftset designed by Matt Sutton and Matt
Trujilo. The giftset exists in two versions: Caucasian (an edition of 999 sets) and African American (an edition of 500 sets). Not only that, the participants also receive an In The
Swim giftset (an edition of 1100), a Sweet Talking Ken, 4 sets of fashion, and some interesting gifts. They are so lucky!

Here is the latest convention doll from the Paris Fashion Doll Festival held in Paris in March 2011. The theme of the convention is Renaissance,
so it is normal that the souvenir doll is the Renaissance Faire Barbie…only this one is a brunette, while the one widely available has blond hair. She comes with a postcard size drawing
made by Robert Best. Although on the box it is written « Pink Label », but it has a sticker saying « This brunette version of the Renaissance Faire Barbie doll is produced
exclusively for the participants of the 2011 Paris Fashion Doll Festival ». According to the president of the festival, she is an edition of no more than 400 dolls.

I just received these two dolls this week. They might look similar but are not exatly the same. The one with the orange hair was the one
sold in stores, but the one with the yellow hair was only given to the participants of the Barbie Convention in 2003. Can you notice another thing that differs them, besides
the hair and the outfit ? The laptop computer of the convention doll has a 2003 Barbie Convention Logo on the screen.
Bonus items included with the Modern Circle convention doll are - a Vinyl Modern Circle Bag, printed on the bottom is "2003 National Barbie Doll Collectors Convention", a Pink
leather notepad portfolio and a pink and white coffee mug imprinted "2003 National Barbie Doll Collectors Convention".

Here is the picture of the African American version of the souvenir doll from the 2010 Convention in Cleveland. I think that she is as beautiful as the Caucasian version! I can't
choose, that's why I am so lucky to have both of them!

Here is a doll that I’ve been wanting for so long. A souvenir doll from the Paris Fashion Doll Festival in 2004, the redheaded version of the Color Magic
Barbie. There are also the brunette version (available in stores) and the blond version (a souvenir doll for the GAW convention). But this one is my
favorite ! She is so stunning with her red hair !
