First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012 !
I want to start this new year with a special article about a doll that I like very much. It’s the Generations of Dreams created by Robert Best for Barbie’s fiftieth anniversary in 2009. The gown is gorgeous with vintage images of Barbies. But why am I writing this article today, while the doll was released in 2009? It’s because only last week I finally received the third version, that I have been looking for for months!
Let me explain. The doll was first released in 2 versions, the blond caucasian and the African American. But then I learned that there was a third version, a brunette, created only for the attendees of the Women's Conference in Long Beach, California. She is so hard to find, but my dream to have her finally came true!
Enjoy the pictures!
