Twilight Gala

Publié par Barbieboy Belgium
Twilight Gala

I tried to make some space in my Barbie room yesterday and found this doll in a corner. I almost forgot how beautiful she is. It's the Twilight Gala Barbie Doll, released on 1/1/2002 as an Official Barbie Collector Club Exclusives. Her face is so soft and the gown is simple but elegant. An AA version of this doll also exists, but I don't have her...yet! :-D

Did you hear a cat meow?

Did you hear a cat meow?

I was looking at the old pictures I took, and saw this one. I think I haven't shown it to you guys. This is Catrine DeMew, a monster high doll I bought a few months ago. She is a werecat and she first appeared in "Scaris: City of Frights". I bought her from a seller in England, and I've never seen her in Belgium. She looks very pretty for a monster, doesn't she?

Queen of the Constellations

Publié par Barbieboy
After the Goddess of the Galaxy Barbie Doll released in 2011 and the Empress of the Aliens Barbie Doll released in 2012, here is the third Sci-Fi Barbie doll designed by Bill Greening and released in 2013. The Queen of the Constellations Barbie Doll is a gold label of no more than 7,300 worldwide. She completes the futuristic space goddess series. I really love this doll, she seems tough and that's very different from the usual Barbie look (cute and pretty). Hey, to protect groups of stars is not an easy thing to do!

Tu es très belle, Tulabelle!

Publié par Barbieboy

I wanted to limit my collection to 12" dolls, but sometimes I just can't resist 16" dolls.  Especially when I saw promotional pictures of Tulabelle, the new line from Integrity Toys designed by David Buttry.  Tulabelle is a young influential fashion blogger, and guess what?  Her grandmother is Poppy Parker!
I orderred two Tulabelle dolls and here's one of them that I received earlier this week.  She's the Blond Basic Tulabelle Doll and a Limited Edition of 300 Dolls.  Her name is "J’Adore" and she wears a striped top with J'adore written on it, and a hot pink mini skirt. Isn't she adorable?

Do you believe in fairies?

Publié par Barbieboy

Here's the Elina Barbie Doll, a flower fairy from the wonderful world of Fairytopia, released on 8/1/2006.  The doll's outfit is inspired by the creation of the Broadway costume designer Gregg Barnes.  She's an FAO & Live Nation exclusive.  It took me a long time to finally get this doll.  It was very difficult to find her at a price that I could afford.  But finally, she's here with me!

Let's Rock!

Publié par Barbieboy

There aren't that many collectible Tommy dolls, and I can't understand why.  Because when I look at this giftset that I received this week, they are so cute!  Here is the Tommy Doll as Elvis Giftset.  It was designed by Sharon Zuckerman and released on 12/1/2003.  The one in the middle wears a golden suit worn by Elvis at the 1957 concert in Toronto. The one on the right wears the Elvis Eagle jumpsuit from 1973. The one on the left wears a black jacket and pants, an outfit based on Elvis' 1957 film, Jailhouse Rock. When you see how adorable these dolls are, don't you just want to love them tender?

Be true! Be You! Have MOXIE!

Publié par Barbieboy

When I went to the Netherlands last week, I found these dolls on sale in a store.  They were so cute that I decided to buy them.  The Moxie Girlz is a line of fashion dolls introduced by MGA Entertainment (which is also the manufacturer of Bratz) in 2009. They were meant to replace Bratz, following a four-year legal battle between Mattel and MGA.  But Moxie girls have subtler looks than Bratz, that's why I think they're adorable!

A picture is worth a thousand words... It's Picture Day!

Publié par Barbieboy

It feels like christmas in June!  When I got home yesterday, I found these dolls on the dining room table!  They are gifts from my friend who knew how disappointed I was after buying the same dolls on Ebay and being cheated by the dishonest seller!  (I got my money back thanks to Paypal, but it was still a bad experience...)
So here they are, the Monster High dolls from the Picture Day collection: Draculaura, Cleo de Nile,  Abbey Bominable, Spectra Vondergeist, Frankie Stein and Lagoona Blue.  So cute, aren't they?
